Tryout Registration

In order to be evaluated for the competitive program - Follow the steps below

• Create an account in PlayMetrics - New Players to Rising Only
• If you already have an existing PlayMetrics account, please login to register.
• Attend their respective tryout (Grade Year - 26/27 Academic year - 8/1 to 7/31)
  

Parents/Guardians should create an account in their name and add each child as a participant. 

Official Times will be emailed to registered participants closer to their tryout date.  If you have any questions, please email our program directors, Executive Director at brandonhom@arkansasrising.org or Ryan Smith, Arkansas Rising Director of Coaching at RyanSmith@arkansasrising.org.

The Tryout Process

1. Registration:  Players can register anytime before tryouts or at tryouts. Communication will be sent out each day with updates.  Only registered participants will receive specific tryout communication.  We encourage early registration!
   
2. Tryouts: Competitive tryouts will be held for each age group at Burns Park Soccer Complex at 1 Soccer Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72118.  Please note specific field information will be emailed each day of Tryouts.  Players are encouraged to attend all three days of tryouts if possible.
   
3. Player Selection: Based on evaluations made during tryouts, coaches use a rating system to form teams within each age group. Teams are  tiered and created with that in mind. 
4. Notification:  You will receive information on the status of your player 5 days after the final tryout date of their respective age group which may include: "Selected for a team or Still in Consideration".  You will be asked to either accept or decline the spot on the team if an invitation to join is sent.  All players will receive a notifiaction of where they are in the process, if a player is not selected for a team, they will receive a notification for that. If you have Playmetrics set up to send you emails for notifications, these emails may be routed to your SPAM/JUNK folder.  If after 5 days you do not see an email in your inbox/junk/spam folder, please email: brandonhom@arkansasrising.org
5. Team Invite: If you received an invite, you will receive a notification through PlayMetrics with a Team Invite.  The invite will be sent to the person who completed the tryout registration for tryouts. Please click on the invite to formally accept your child’s spot on their competitive team.  This process usually begins 5 days after the player's age groups tryouts.
6. Payment: Accepting your child’s spot on the team in PlayMetrics will enable you to make payment for your competitive fees and submit the required paperwork (medical waiver, birth certificate, headshot photo).
7. Uniform:  A link will be sent to complete the uniform ordering process. This process usually begins in late June/early July once players have completed their online registration.
