Academy
The Academy is designed for players who are ready for an additional challenge in a fun, development-focused environment. Players train twice each week at their home location focuing on technincal indivudal skill before coming together on Thursdays for Academy-wide tactical training led by multiple coaches and club directors.
Training alongside players from across the club creates stronger developmental groups, introduces new teammates and coaches, and helps players adapt to different playing styles. Sessions are built around improving technical ability, decision making, and confidence while encouraging creativity, community and a love for the game.
The Academy serves as the bridge between Recreational soccer and our Competitive program, giving players a clear pathway to continue growing with Arkansas Rising while developing the habits and understanding needed for the next level.
All players should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing. Cleats and shin guards are required.
Program Highlights
Who:
- Boys and girls, U8–U10 (Academy ages)
Training:
- Two Technial sessions a week at your home location
- Thursday Academy tactics and team training with players from all locations
Games:
- Saturday Academy matches
- Teams compete against other Academy teams and clubs only
Season Length:
- Year-round development program
- Consistent training and competition throughout the season

Coaching:
- Licensed Academy coaches supported by Arkansas Rising Directors. Players train with multiple coaches throughout the season, exposing them to different teaching styles while receiving consistent feedback and guidance.
Club Academy Fees
Academy player fees help cover the costs of the following items: Registration with Arkansas State Soccer, US Youth Soccer Association, and USSF, secondary injury insurance for your player at games and practices, and program administration. Coaching Fees, League Fees, One Tournament entry per season.
Uniforms purchased separately on a 2 year cycle.
